Alex and Max's intimate destination wedding was truly one of a kind. So much attention was put towards each detail, from the wedding timeline to the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres; each moment was planned with thoughtfulness and care.
The day began with the Bride and Groom getting ready in separate rooms in the coastal view villa where the reception would be held in Cap-d’Ail, France. After getting ready, the Bride and Groom had a first look and private vow reading with the bright Mediterranean sea and scattered white sailboats as their backdrop, followed by formal family portraits. Everyone then left for the Ceremony, which took place in the Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate in the heart of Monaco. The Ceremony ended with a flower petal exit, and after a few group portraits, all the guests left for the private villa in Cap-d’Ail, where the reception was held. The bridal party stayed behind for a few portraits in front of the Monte Carlo Casino. And, of course, a few more couple portraits of the Bride and Groom in front of the Casino and Cathedral.
After their sports car exit and short drive from Monaco to France the Bride and Groom could then join the tail-end of cocktail hour. The dining tables were beautifully decorated with the bright colors of the day (terracotta orange and blue), and the Mediterranean ocean lent a beautiful backdrop for this intimate dinner and party the Bride and Groom held with their closest friends and family. My favorite part of the wedding was the dance floor at the end. You could genuinely feel the joy from the guests and, of course, the new Mr & Mrs Stevens.
