In July of 2023, I was asked to photograph a family reunion at a resort in Costa Rica. Leading up to the reunion, I got a message from Shaina asking if I could take her maternity photos while there. I was so excited about this session; it was one of the trip's highlights.

We walked pretty far down the beach for a bit of privacy while we took photos, which was huge because we could take our time and have fun with the posing. Maternity photos celebrate new life, and the images should feel happy. And that's something I loved about this session with Shaina and Micah. It was so easy to capture photos celebrating this new life; you can see and feel the joy through these images.
