This engagement session took place in September 2022. When Nicole reached out, she mentioned hoping to have her engagement session at Yosemite National Park and incorporating the epic views and granite giants Yosemite is so famous. Unfortunately, Glacier Point Road was closed, so we had to get creative with the locations. We started the morning on the trail to Artist Point. A few stopping points along the trail to Artist Point offer a unique and crowd-free vantage point of Tunnell View. After watching the sunrise and seeing that the crowd at Tunnell View had dispersed, we headed there for a few photos. We ended the morning walking along the hidden pathways in the tall yellow grass in Yosemite Valley and took a few pictures with Half Dome framing Nicole and Alec. For the sunset portion of the session, we drove along Tiago Pass to Tuolumne Meadows, where we got to witness the most golden sun set behind granite mountains. After the sun had set, Nicole and Alec changed outfits one last time, and we ended the engagement session dancing around and running through the grass with the cotton candy sky and quarter moon as the backdrop.
